Meet The Members
The Tinton Falls Foundation is made up of a broad cross-section of individuals including community members, Board of Education Members, Teachers and Administrators from within Tinton Falls.
Fran Gardiner - President
Fran is the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, and has been involved as a charter member of the re-launched Education Foundation since 2006. She is in her third term as the Foundation President.
Rob Mauro - Vice-President
Rob Mauro is a Past President and a member of our group since 2008. Rob has been very active in the community as an assistant softball coach and became a member of the Tinton Falls Board of Education in 2009.
Ken Hager - Treasurer
Ken has also been a charter member of the re-launched Foundation since 2006 and has served as Treasurer for the past 4 years. In 2007, Ken also is a member of the Tinton Falls Board of Education.
Carole Walker - Secretary
Carole is a Tinton Falls resident and has been an active committee member since 2006.
Sandra Burner, Trustee
Sandy has been involved as a charter member of the foundation since 2006. She is currently an Administrative Assistant for the Curriculum Office, in the Tinton Falls District Office. Sandy and her family live in Tinton Falls.
Carol Cuttler, Trustee
Our newest member, Carol is a teacher at the Mahala F. Atchison School. Carol lives in Tinton Falls with her husband and two sons.
Kathleen DeAngelo, Trustee
Kathy has been involved as a charter member of the foundation since 2006. She is currently an Administrative Assistant in the Tinton Falls District Office.
Kelly Fay, Trustee
Kelly Fay is a teacher at Mahala F. Atchison School and active member of the foundation for 4 years. Kelly has been instrumental in the coordination and recruitment of our volunteers to help us with our fund raising events.
Sharon Fernandes, Trustee
Sharon Fernandes is a Past President of the Foundation and has been involved since 2006. Sharon served as Co-President and was an integral part of the reorganization of the Foundation. Sharon, a Tinton Falls resident is a past member of the Tinton Falls Board of Education.
Mary Gardiner, Trustee
Mary has also been involved in the Foundation since its relaunch in 2006. A graduate of the Tinton Falls School District, Mary works for a clinical research company in Princeton.
Mary Polese, Trustee
Mary is the Principal at the Mahala F. Atchison School, and has been actively involved with the Foundation since its inception.
John Russo, Trustee
John is the Superintendent of our district and supports the Foundation through his participation, as well as providing district cooperation with our various events.
Tamar Sydney-Gens, Trustee
Tamar, our district Business Administrator, was one of the founding members of the Foundation in 2006. Her work along with our immediate past Superintendent, Dr. Kelpsh, was instrumental in recruiting a broad section of residents to become charter members of the Tinton Falls Foundation.
